

Culture blog ZIP Magazine is the vision of Katja Schmolka who is influenced by both historic Vienna and raw NYC.


Simultaneously feminine and edgy, ZIP embodies the Viennese aesthetic through clean sans-serifs, juxtaposed with handwritten, emotive lettering, representative of New York. I helped oversee the brand design, strategy, logotype, site design, and social presence.
